Valley Forge Winter Maternity Photoshoot
What I love about Valley Forge for winter maternity photos is how many beautiful backdrop options available even in the middle of winter when the leaves are off the trees. I especially love doing photos in the golden grasses with sweeping valley views in the background. When the sun shines through the golden grasses, it brings a lot of warmth, texture, and dimension to your images even in the cold winter months.
Valley Forge also has some beautiful stone architecture that offers a variety of beautiful backdrops for photos.
Greenhouse Winter Maternity Photoshoot
One thing you can’t control is your baby’s due date. But you don’t have to settle for cold, colorless photos just because your maternity photoshoot needs to happen in the winter! If your heart yearns for color and warmth in the middle of wintertime, then a greenhouse session may be perfect option for your maternity photoshoot. My favorite greenhouse for photos is Ott’s Exotic Plants in Schwenksville, PA. If picturing yourself surrounded by vibrant greenery and colorful blooms like you see pictured below makes your heart sing, then you’ve found the perfect spot for your winter maternity photoshoot!
Springton Manor Farm Winter Maternity Photoshoot
For a winter maternity photoshoot, I’m always looking for locations with other elements of visual interest in the backdrop even when the leaves are off the trees. And there’s no other place I’ve found around the area with more variety of beautiful backdrop options than Springton Manor Farm in Glenmoore, PA. Red barns, pastures with fences, huge boulders, and sweeping branches are just a few of the reasons why Springton Manor Farm is a gorgeous place for maternity photos all winter long.
Natural Light Studio Maternity Photoshoot
For moms who love simple, classic maternity photos, my Natural Light Studio is a beautiful setting to celebrate your beautiful baby bump. With a full wall of floor to ceiling windows, a white curtain wall, and a bed with a bit of greenery to give a touch of color, it’s a warm and bright space that’s perfect for a winter maternity photoshoot! And as an added bonus, we have easy access to my Client Closet with lots of beautiful, bump-friendly dresses for moms to borrow. Outfit changes are quick and easy in the studio if you’d love to bring a bit of variety to your maternity photos.
In Home Lifestyle Maternity Photoshoot
In Home Lifestyle Maternity Sessions are a great option in the wintertime for moms who love a more casual and cozy photoshoot. Another bonus is how easy it is to include family pets so the whole family gets to be involved in the photos. This mama-to-be told me it was really important to her to include for her first baby (her fur baby!) in their maternity photos. So big brother puppy got in on lots of the snuggles and tried his best to steal the show!
