What I love most about doing newborn, maternity, and family photography is that connecting with other moms feels like home to me. There's always so much to talk about and the conversation just flows so easily. Whether we end up chatting about nursing or napping or favorite toys, sessions feel like catching up with old friends and delivering galleries feels like gifting something special I made from the heart. When that email pops into my inbox from a family I've photographed before, I can't help feeling giddy! Hearing that your beautiful family is about to grow again and you're trusting me to document some of the most special moments and people in your life--it is such an honor and a privilege for me. Because kids grow by leaps and bounds. It feels like I blink and all of a sudden your little newborn is walking or snuggling into her role as a new big sister. I'm consistently blown away by how amazing the families I work with are, and I think it's because if you're here and you're still reading this, you are my people. I'm so glad you've found me!

Our friendship begins now, so let's get to know each other! Here are a few of my favorite things...just be aware that when you bring these things up at our next session, you won't be able to shut me up!

• My Guy & My Girl - I'm not sure what I did to deserve the best husband and sweetest daddy's girl around, but I count my lucky stars every day!
• Moscato & Margaritas - Usually on different nights, but if offered both at once I'm likely to accept :) Isn't that why we have two hands, after all?
• Midnight Chocolate Mug for Two - Check out this Alton Brown recipe right now if you' re a fellow chocolate lover! The best chocolate lava cake you'll ever eat made in less than 5 minutes in the microwave...brings date nights at home to a whole new level :)
• Bathing Suits - The old cliche is that women have too many shoes. You'll find me wearing flip flops or sneakers most days, but I may get a little over-zealous about shopping for bathing suits. The lake, the beach, the boat, water parks, tropical paradise...What can I say? All of my happy places seem to involve water!
• To Do Lists - More specifically, I love the feeling of accomplishment that comes from crossing things off my to do list. Organization and lists are my jam!
• Gritty - I've been watching the Flyers with my sisters since we were kids and hockey still brings me such joy. Thank goodness I've converted Tim and Lucy into die hard fans too, so the family tradition continues!
• Planning Our Next Adventure - Feeding baby goats, exploring the gardens and fountains of Longwood, going for a stream walk, or snorkeling tropical reefs. When I'm not currently on an adventure, I'm dreaming about the next one!
