Capturing Baby Beckett and His Adoring Family
There is something so incredibly special about doing a family centered newborn photoshoot during those first few weeks after welcoming a new baby. The days seem to blur together, yet every tiny detail feels unforgettable. It was such a joy to document this beautiful season for sweet baby Beckett and his adoring family.
From the moment they arrived, it was clear just how loved Beckett is. His parents were completely in love, and his proud big sister, Reagan, was absolutely smitten with her new baby brother. Watching her gently snuggle him, admire his tiny fingers and toes, and share sweet kisses made for some of my favorite moments from the session. I can only imagine how much joy it will bring to watch Beckett and Reagan grow up together!
Beckett wore one of the new pieces I recently added to my Client Closet—an ivory ribbed knit romper that beautifully complemented mom’s vision for light and bright newborn photos with a timeless style. As the session progressed and he settled into a sleepy rhythm, we wrapped him in a soft textured blanket that was cozy and comfortable. Mom also took advantage of my Client Closet and selected a beautiful ivory off-the-shoulder lace dress for our photos. The delicate lace paired perfectly with the studio’s soft natural light, creating a timeless, romantic feel throughout their family portraits. I love making things as easy as possible for families with a new baby by providing lots of beautiful options for both mom & baby to wear.
My approach to newborn photography has always been centered around family and genuine connection. Rather than focusing solely on newborn portraits, I love creating images that celebrate the love surrounding your new baby. The cuddles, soft kisses, and quiet moments become the memories you’ll treasure forever.
Baby Beckett was an absolute dream to photograph, and I couldn’t be happier for this beautiful family as they begin this new chapter together. Thank you for trusting me to document this incredibly special season of your lives. It was a privilege to witness the love you share, and I hope every time you look through your gallery, you’re transported right back to these sweet, fleeting newborn days when your hearts were bursting with love and joy!
