Being a 1st birthday photographer is such a fun job! I get the joy of capturing little ones at this special time as they make the leap from baby to toddler. The last time I got to see little Jimmy was a year ago for his newborn photos. It was like getting in a time machine for me! I couldn’t believe how this tiny little baby I remembered had grown into to a toddler. He was already running to try to keep up with his big brothers. So of course we had a lot of fun exploring my studio together, capturing every adorable expression along the way.

1st Birthday Photo Outfits for Boys

One of the benefits of doing 1st birthday photos in my Natural Light Studio is having my Client Closet right there. Mom brought along one outfit with a jeans and a plaid shirt layered over a white textured top for little Jimmy’s 1st birthday photos. What a dapper little man! I love the layering and texture of this look.

And when she arrived for our session, mom also picked out these two additional pieces from my Client Closet. Both this beige knit romper and blue cotton corduroy bubble shorts with suspenders are from Carter’s. I especially love Carter’s Little Planet line for baby and toddler clothes for little boys.
