Cooper’s Adorable Debut
Lifestyle newborn photography will always have my heart! Some babies simply can’t wait to meet their families—and Cooper is one of them. This sweet boy surprised his parents by arriving more than two months early, eager to get all the cuddles started. After spending time in the NICU growing bigger and stronger, his parents brought him into my natural light studio for his newborn session just a couple of weeks after his original due date. At 11 weeks old, he was still a tiny peanut, but full of personality and heart-melting expressions.
One of the things I love most about lifestyle newborn photography is how beautifully it adapts to every baby’s story. Whether they’re days old, weeks old, or—like Cooper—arriving fashionably late to their “newborn” session after their NICU journey, my natural light studio gives families the space to relax, settle in, and simply love on their baby. And that’s exactly what we did.
Cooper wore two of the preemie-size knit rompers from my Client Closet, and my goodness! He could not have looked sweeter! The soft textures and snug fit were perfect to capture every snuggle, kiss, and sweet smile he shared with his mom and dad.
What touched me most throughout the session was how naturally his mom and dad sank into the moment with him. After weeks of NICU life, alarms, and routines, this was a chance to simply be together. No rushing. No posing. Just breathing him in, holding his tiny fingers, and celebrating how far he has come.
Cooper’s story is one of strength, hope, and so much love. Thank you for trusting me to capture your family’s most precious memories. Welcome to the world, Cooper! You are so loved!
