Every newborn photoshoot is special, but this was actually my second time getting to do photos with sweet little Luke. When mom reached out to schedule her newborn photos, she had her heart set on doing their family photos outside surrounded by the beautiful fall colors. But she also wanted some special photos of just Luke, so she opted to schedule a family session in Valley Forge AND a newborn essentials session in my natural light studio. Luke is such a cutie pie! I had the pleasure of taking Luke’s big brother’s newborn photos a couple years ago, and the entire time we were taking Luke’s photos I couldn’t help but marvel over how much he looks just like his big brother Theo as a baby. So many newborn photographers try to make babies fall asleep so they can pose them for newborn photos, but I just LOVE when babies are awake for their newborn photos. That sparkle in Luke’s eyes is something I know this family will always treasure when they look back on these memories.
