Doing lifestyle newborn photos brings me so much joy, and I’m excited to share some of my favorite moments from Nina’s newborn photoshoot! Nina surprised her family by arriving a month ahead of her due date, but she was definitely ready to get the snuggles started and explore the outside world! At 3 weeks old, she’s still a tiny gal with room to grow into her newborn size clothes, but I was amazed by her strong neck control and how bright-eyed and expressive she was even though we did the her newborn photos a week before her scheduled due date.
For the first half of her newborn photos, this sweet baby girl was wide awake and eager to explore. She loved her cuddles with mommy and daddy, looking out the window, and even some tummy time. There’s just so much wonder when everything you see and do is an exciting new adventure! Then after a quick feeding with mommy, she settled into a comfy, cozy nap for the second half of her newborn photos. There’s nothing quite like that deep and peaceful newborn sleep, and even in her sleep she was expressive. I can’t get over those squishy lips. What a cutie!
Images have such power.
