Celebrating Allison’s First Birthday!
Allison’s first birthday pictures were one of those full-circle moments that remind me why I love what I do. There’s something so special about photographing little ones as they grow up. The last time I saw Allison, she was a tiny newborn curled up in her parents arms and soaking in all the snuggles. Now—one whole year later—she is a big girl on the move! She came back into my natural-light studio with the brightest eyes, the sweetest smile, and a personality that lit up the entire room.
From the moment she arrived, Allison was ready to explore. Even in the short and sweet time we had together, she did it all! Crawling around my studio, playing with my toy cars, looking at a picture book, riding on the bunny rocker, playing with the curtains, and even taking a few steps (with a little help from mom) to capture this special time as she’s learning to walk. I’m sure she’ll be off and running by the next time I see her!
Throughout the session, we captured Allison’s personality, and it was pure magic! All of her sweet expressions—her wide-eyed curiosity, beaming smiles, and mischievous smirks—every frame felt authentic and true.
It’s such an honor to witness these milestones and to see how much babies change in just one short year. Happy first birthday, Allison! I can’t wait to see who you continue to grow into. Until next time!
