Family Photographers Near Me

Family photographers get the joy of seeing families grow and change over time. It’s such an honor and a privilege when families trust me again and again to take family photos and freeze these memories with the people they love most in the world. The last time I saw this family was last summer when we did family photos together at Green Lane in Perkiomenville for Paxton’s 1st birthday. And this time around we met at Peace Valley Lavender farm in Doylestown to take some fun family photos! Family photographers always have their favorite locations, and the lavender farm is one of my favorite spots for sure. I look forward to June every year when the lavender starts to bloom, and it never surprises me when my lavender farm photoshoots are the first dates to book up when I post my spring calendar every year. I remember admiring Paxton’s sweet curls last summer, and mom told me she hadn’t gotten his hair cut yet because she was so afraid his curls wouldn’t grow back. Well I learned at the lavender farm that he has had his hair cut since then, and thankfully her fear didn’t come true. Just look at those adorable curls!

Mom was also excited about seeing her little man all dressed up in his suspenders. I think it’s safe to say he was pretty happy about his suspenders too 🙂

We also discovered that we have an up and coming photographer on our hands when he took a few photos of his own with his toy camera he brought along. Just check out how he takes the picture and then checks his camera to see the result…he’s a natural for sure! Mom told me the toy camera was actually hers when she was a kid, and what a special moment for mom to watch her son get so much joy from a toy she loved long ago!

Family photographers dream of photoshoots like this filled with wonder and excitement and laughter. I can’t even describe how much fun this little guy had exploring the lavender fields! He smelled the lavender and loved the bees and ran down the rows of soft purple blooms laughing all the way. When you get to laugh and explore, smell the flowers, fly through the air, and snuggle with mommy and daddy, life is good 🙂

When it was getting close to the end of our photoshoot, he didn’t want to leave even though it was already past his bedtime. I think he loved the lavender as much as I do, and that’s saying quite a lot! I’m right there with you, buddy! What a fun and magical evening we shared together at the lavender farm in Doylestown 🙂
