Longwood Gardens: The Perfect Setting for Colorful Family Photos
One of my favorite things about being a Philadelphia family photographer is getting close with returning families and watching their little ones grow! I first met this family for their newborn photos when their son Cameron was born. And over the years I’ve gotten to watch him grow and become a big brother when his little sister Addie joined the family.
When mom reached out to me to schedule another family photoshoot together, she requested a morning session because she knew it would be best to avoid a late evening sunset session too close to bedtime with her young kiddos. We actually did their family’s maternity photos at Longwood Gardens just before Addie was born, and it’s one of their favorite places. So it was an easy choice to head back to the Conservatory for another late morning photoshoot at Longwood Gardens.
The huge indoor greenhouse offers beautiful indoor lighting even when the sun is high in the sky. This makes it a perfect choice for families who are hesitant to do an evening sunset session with young kids who need to go to bed early. To say Cameron and Addie had a blast exploring Longwood Gardens with their parents would be an understatement, for sure!
