Jackson’s Cake Smash & Splash
Doing 1st birthday photography is such a blast! Jackson’s photoshoot was full of joy, giggles, and just the right amount of cake-covered chaos. Jackson was so curious and adventurous from the moment he arrived. He loved flashing that big birthday smile as played and explored my studio. Mom and Dad were right there with him, offering snuggles and tickles that made for the most heart-melting family photos.
Then came the main event: the cake smash! Jackson dove in with both hands, and it didn’t take long before frosting was everywhere — just as it should be! He had the best time squishing the cake, tasting handfuls of sweet goodness, and making a delightful mess. These candid, joy-filled moments are exactly why I love cake smash sessions — they’re playful, memorable, and so much fun.
After the mess came the cutest cleanup! We ended the session with a splash in my little white bathtub, which Jackson thought was the best part of all. He happily splashed and played in the warm water, still smiling and giggling from his cake adventure.
Happy first birthday, Jackson! It was such a joy to capture this special milestone for your family. Thank you for bringing your fun-loving spirit into the studio — what a perfect way to celebrate turning one! I can’t wait to see you again for our next photoshoot in the fall and continue watching you grow up before my eyes!
