Extended Family

The first professional photographer we ever hired was a gift for my mom’s birthday: an extended family session with my mom, her three daughters, their husbands, and the grandkids. I’m not sure if we’ll ever be able to top that gift because the walls of her house are still covered with photos from that chilly spring day we spent laughing and playing together. Maybe this is why I love extended family sessions so much. The fun. The expressions. The love. There will always be a special place in my heart for the memories we create when the entire family comes out to take family photos together.
